How good is God?
when B told me about the need to impress the profs and not be whiny coz they detest whiny ppl and that they form impressions of ppl easily,
i was absolutely freaked and in dismay.
sucking up is so not my thing and i hate doing out of the way to make an impression.
this always puts me through an identity crisis where i can't decide if i shld be myself and hope the profs do not dislike me and mark me down for who i am
or whether i ought to be the ultra model student going out of the way to pander to the whims of the rather quirky profs so as to be on their good side
so once more i asked myself-
how good is God?
so good that i didn't even need to do anything.
my political geog prof found me and marked me when he was told that i am a Potong Pasirian.
and now that is all he views me as.
that and the "joke" that being in the same hood as him means i'll get an A.
it helps that out of the 44 students
and me never having taken a class by him
and there being another Jolene
he remembers my name now
and how i look like.
this is a promising start!
dear Lord,
help me to not screw this up!
Amen!!
God is more than good.
He's good to me.
He's brilliant.
