staff summit
solead has been uber great thus far.
before the first week of school began,
we had alpha camp where we got to know one another.
then the first week flew by us and checkouts [sort of tests] raced towards us.
the following week [this past week] has been staff summit week whereby most of the sccc staff gathered at nsrcc for a time of planning, consolidation, rest, fun and of coz..
oneness.
staff summit has been a wonderful time for me in getting to know my fellow soleadites better as well as the other staff.
guess it's coz they dun recognise me that alot came up to chat with me,
esp the senior staff.
and they tend to do so in the middle of the road between the conference room building and chalet.
under the scorching sun.
while i was still in my jacket.

but they're all uber nice and friendly ppl.
after hearing my story, they all expressed their joy in how i've boldly answered God's call which to me was..
well, i dunno how to put it into words..
just that i never thought it was that big an issue.
guess it's my youth thing.. unable to comprehend the full importance of the meaning of lifelong calling..
oh yes-
i'm the only teen around.
think i'm the youngest ever to join solead.
most of them do so after poly so they're at least 20.
but coming to this summit have made me realise the full gravity of giving up everything and following the one who carries the cross on His back..
am i ready for it?
to be in the world but not of the world..
