the human body it sure is one complicated structure. how every part of the body is absolutely crucial for it's efficient functioning.. God really is a wonderful scientist, artist and inventor! was just reading duane's blog abt an old post on sight and hearing. was reminded of this kid in the school i taught at who suddenly burst into tears during PE lesson coz she could not see clearly. and this blurrness had already persisted for a few days after another kid punched her in the eye [yes-monsters i know.] i followed her to the toilet as she broke down and became a sob fest and i managed to calm her down and shared with her how she should thank God for giving her the sight to see, that she can still see even if it's not clear coz some ppl can't even see at all, and some of them since birth. and strangely enough, it calmed her down and i dunno what else i said but she went out smiling and no longer worried about her eyes.
really,no part of the body can function effectively without the other, even in ways that are not clearly seen. say for the eyes- all one can see are the pupils and iris but who'll ever think of the blood vessels and whatever parts behind the eyes that help it to function? and so it is with my nose. i wanted to chop it off coz the sinus prob has bugged me all day and nite for 2 days. but it's not my nose alone that is responsible for this but i realised that it has to do with me. coz i haven't been sleeping properly and hence this is the penalty i pay. my body was probably breaking down as a consequence of another function.
so i thank God that a prayer warrior supported me greatly by praying and fasting as i did my first ever checkout. that's one of the most touching things anyone could ever do for me..=) and i passed my checkout!!!! WHOOPIEEEE!! christine was really lenient with me too. hee. BUT now's the time to work on checkout2. raaaahhs. i can do it!
to not look at what's ahead but to turn to who's behind =)
