the tasting today i had my first dose of wad it is like to be in a bible school. i went with my sis to tunglin bible school today to experience wad is it like to be a student there as well as to hear pastor benny ho teach on finding your calling. pretty interesting. so now i'm wondering which part of my life am i at and if missions really is my calling.. trusting in God for this=)
her classmates are a rowdy funny bunch. they range from like 17 years to 60 and above. there's about 40 over students in the class and i realised that my class would only occupy 2 rows while they occupied the room. that's how big it is. but it was good getting to know everyone.. really is different when all your classmates are fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! i'm psyched=D
zipped home after a horrid lunch at marine parade food centre [i'm NEVER eating there again] and rushed down asap to bugis where a trip to shaw towers to try some yummie ice cream awaited. yummzzzzzzz!! of coz someone was such a love-star. HAHA. *nausea feelin* went to watch hairspray after dining at miss clarity. omg. i almost suffocated from the amount of aerosols they were breathing in and i just felt so sorry for the poor innocent earth being killed slowly but surely by all those beehive styles that required cans of hairspray to keep it intact. it was painful to watch each time they pssssk the spray.=( earth-killing aside, john travolta is such a hoot! he really brought out the full mundaness of homewives pretty well. and the father was another funny fellow. i would just kill him if i had such a guy for a husband la. ok wait- i would kill him then marry another guy. haha. JOKE. i'm sure God's sense of humour is wayyyyy much better than this anyway.hee. all in all, the whole film just makes u wanna jump up on ur feet and jiggle about in those pretty almost-hoop-skirt dresses and stable pretty heels. ooooh and the music was not bad either! wad i like abt musicals are how the songs are always somewhat personal. like the lyrics are personal and meaningful only to those singing it as they recount their exeriences.. it's like they are in their own little world where no one can intrude coz no one will fully understand the memories they shared. sweeeeeeeet.=) went for a lil stroll along marina bay since it was still early in the nite.. sadly, that once idyllic quiet spot is now overcrowded with ppl awaiting a night life.. boat quay was much better.. especially since we managed to get a spot on the stone seats near the new timbre at the arts house. not too bad i must say! seeing the river boats bobbing up and down gently against the backdrop of an active nightlife ongoing amidst the many birghtly lit pubs and bars on the other side.. hearing the soulful belting of pleasing songs to responsive spontaneous listeners.. watching a movie of creatures imaginary and real enrolling before us imprinted on the clouds.. nicee=)
i need to start keeping my loose change. esp 20cent coins. =D
nice song: Walk away if you want to Its ok, if you need to Well, you can run, but you can never hide From the shadow thats creepin up beside you. And, theres a magic runnin through your soul, But you cant have it all (whatever you do) Well, Ill be two steps behind you (wherever you go) And Ill be there to remind you That it only takes a minute of your precious time To turn around and Ill be two steps behind. Yeah, yeah Take the time to think about it Just walk the line, you know you just cant fight it And take a look around, youll see what you cant find, Like the fire thats burnin up inside me Yeah, yeah Oh.Yeah, baby. Two steps behind Oh, sugar, Two steps behind
