smoke
bbqs are amazing.
the smoke lingers in ur hair loooong after u've left the place..
but the memories remain permanently etched.
guess that makes up for the stench.

today was pretty packed for me.
met jing for breakfast..
haven't met her in quite awhile!
i always love my time with her..
i see how God has blessed her so much in her life,
i just wish she could be more open to the gospel though.
but i'm still praying..

then i had to zip to school for college day.
had to go get my service award for track and field.
jenn was sooo good la!
he got so many awards!
hopefully he'll be a great inspiration to the trackers and many others too..

and of coz- he looked dashing in the lilac outfit i helped to pick.

initially i thought the whole thing would be a huge bore,
but sitting btw daryl and deyang proved to be a rather hilarious time with their non-stop funny commentaries.
thank goodness for their entertainment.

it was a pretty good time of catch up with ryan and elaine and the others..
just feels so good to be back with ppl u're familiar with.
i was so amused with mr james ho,
he's really my ultimate fav teacher.
he came up to talk and congratulate ryan n i coz we were sitting together.
when he saw me he began telling me how when i went up he was telling the teacher next to him that this girl is 'so cool' and then the teacher said it was me and he was kinda stunned.
so he took a closer look and realised it was really me and he was so surprised.
i think it's the dyed hair.
and yellow-orange braid which i'm gonna snip off tmr.
but i love mr ho.
he really is a model teacher and one whom i respect greatly.

headed off to daryl's place for a bbq after that.
i actually began chattin with ppl i hardly talked to before and well..
it's the victorian spirit that instantly gels us i suppose.
got to catch up with ying too!!!

mr josef dropped by too and he was being such a bum as usual.
all in all i really enjoyed the bbq..would have loved to stay longer but well..
i really dun wanna end up dozing off during service tmr.
so i decided to take up lance's offer to give me a lift home.
his aunt stays really near me.
for a driver with only 4 months driving experience,
he really is not bad.

came home in a pretty cheery mood..
but thanks to my parents and all that talk about university..
it totally ruined my spirits.
it's not like i dun feel dampened by it already..
i just loathe talking abt uni to my parents.

and so i'm in a terribly upset mood now.
which is really horrid.

what a way to end my otherwise lovely day.
raaaahhs.

i really hate this feeling.
