yester-days
been real packed up catching up with different pals that came from the different groups of ppl that had been a part of my varied life.

saturday
had combined cg with dare.
yes.
the long awaited combined.
was quite apprehensive at first..
i mean there are the usual concerns.
clash of personalities and all.
BUT well..thank God everything went smoothly.
given their initial resistant reaction to settler's cafe,i had thought they would have been uber sian.
but cranium was the game of the night and come on-
u cannot be sian when cranium's around.
u'll just go crazy!!
haha.
the night didn't start off too good for shihui and i.
see-
after faithful-nest i told shihui we'll take a stroll to bedok to dapao dinner and be fashionably late.
[it was 7pm at that time.we were supposed to meet at 7.30pm]
at the pasar malam [i just loveeeeeeee pasar malams.love to soak in the atmposphere],this durian seller had the audacity to shout at me 'YELLOW!LAI MAI LIU LIAN!!'
WARAOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
totally asking for a punch.
but i was ever so gracious of coz.
i just shot him my most killer stare ever.
just coz i was all togged out in yellow DOES NOT MEAN that i am gonna buy durian ok!!!
yellow is just so in this season la.
anyway,i wasn't too sure which bus heads to settlers,but i knew 608 was one of them.
and guess wad-
608 had shut down it's service already but i didn't know!
boo.
so after jes called me and warned me to take a cab down or else..
[ok not really,she said sweetly thru gritted teeth that i had better not be too late and just take a cab down which she'll pay for coz it's really not ex and swift]
in the end,shihui&i did take a cab.
boy did the driver take us for a ride.
he turned back to church,headed for the pie and we ended up along the paya lebar/eunos/kembangan ok i dunno how to describe but anyway that road is always jammed.
and after half an hour,we finally reached.
CAN U BELIEVE IT?!!
HALF AN HOUR AND THE FARE WAS $10.20!!!!!!!
WARAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
midway,i realised the driver was taking us for a spin and tt the cab fare would be crazy.
so i decided that if i'm gonna pay tt much for the fare,i'm gonna make good use of the time we spent inside it.
how?
i basically practised wad dave geisgler had taught us during that evening's sermon.
'uncle,wad is that hanging on ur mirror?' [in a super sweet and innocent tone]
'orh,that ah,that is my idol wan'
'wad do u mean by idol?which idol?'
and so it went on.
hahaha.
but he was sort of hostile and made it quite clear that we should not try to convert him and that different generations think quite differently.
oh well.
at least i tried.
figured if he was gonna be uber resistant than he would drive faster too so he could get us out of his cab asap as well.
haha.

anyway,
combined was a blast.
my group was the all star team.
comprised of jes,alv,leon and i.
we were supposed to win.
we were born champions.
we had all 4 parts of the cranium required for this game totally covered with each of our strengths.
we were stuck in the first spot for the first half of the game as the others charged forward breezily.
boo.
BUT better late than never and as all good racers know-
it's not how well u start but how well u end that matters.
and so we managed to surge forward to conquer everyone else until the last round whereby jac's group which also had shihui,duane and philemon caught up and pipped us to the title of Cranium Champs by just 2 tries.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
but it was still uber fun with many memorable utterly-hilarious-roll-on-the-couch-laugh-like-mad filled moments nonetheless.
duane is a total classic.

sunday
met up with sean for lunch to discuss staff welfare jogging activity.
imagine.
it's SUNDAY and i'm discussing work.
ok not really la.
just fitness.
for some strange reason,ppl look at my track record and treat me like a running god.
or fitness queen.
oh wells.
might as well make use of wad little i know.
but it ended up with both of us slacking at hongkong cafe at marina square chatting about church and other stuff after we were done with the welfare thing.

met my pt bf after that.
he's such a bum.
it was earth day and i wanted to go to the botanic gardens since i haven't been there in years.
but he said it was too hot.
he was wearing a shirt and a jacket.

so we strolled through the air-conditioned suntec and marina instead,
checking out a mini wedding exhibit whereby this enthusiastic man tried selling us his package and telling us that age is not a prob coz the package is valid for 5 years.

then we checked out the visit malaysia fair which had some performance thing going on.
the male dancers are sooooooo cuteeeeeee.
in the gay way,
when dan asked if he could take a pic of them,one of them excitedly waved the others over and they really posed for it.

their dance was fab!
real colourful though it just looked abit like the typical performances we have in school just on a more pro level.
watched wild hogs after that.

he always blames me for spending money coz he says that whenever he's with me,he'll spend money.

i just stay by him and he buys stuff for himself as i give my precious twopence worth.

but somehow due to the limited free time he and i had,it just never worked out.
till last nite.

the packing is horrible and it was totally packed but just as we drove a lil bit up this car drove off so we got a lot.
haha.
the prata's not bad la.
nothing fantastic but it's not bad.
i ate banana prata with milo dino while he had cheese,plain and bomb with teh ping.
