friday nitei'm home.good mummy's gal i am.=)must allay the suspicion of my mum who thinks i'm attached already..if not half attached.then there's the qn of who-now now if she knew..haha.strange how my quiet time this year has been alot about love of Jesus and patience.totally applies to my job.job.tt's the word.it's not my life,it's my job.still.. the emotional output that goes into it is pretty high.i can't help it.i'm the kind of person who throws myself full swing into new things i love.but i've learnt to have to make a delibrate distancing.it's not good to get too attached.especially if it's temporal.coz at the end of it,the parting won't entirely be sweet.sorrow- yes.and so this weekend i'm faced with dilemmas.follow the heart or the head?raaaaaaahhhhhhhhssss.been a testing week for me.i've a phobia of parents now.seriously.my colleague was making some signals at me from afar and i thought she was telling me that there's a parent waiting for me when all she was saying was some really casual thing that i misheard.my reaction totally caught her in shock coz she didn't expect my adverse reaction.hahaha.still..i leave this week with the knowledge that an angry mother who keeps coming and calling non-stop for every and any reason is waiting for me next week.my hod tried to 'shield' me by asking me to only see her after sch ended by which time she had already left and when i called today she did not pick up.she called back and was kinda furious going by her tone which irked my colleague who picked up the call.thank God i wasn't in the staff room then.nonetheless, the parent still left me a love note.sighhh.a look back at the punishments i've metted out this week:- making 2 of my boys run back and forth on the bridge that connects my block to the opposite block because they refused to listen when i told them to stop running in my class.
the both of them needed some exercise anyway, one of them looks like a potential sumo. - took a rowdy class for napfa today who ignored my countdown warnings [5-4-3-2-1] and did not put their fingers to their lips.so wad did i do?
i merely asked the rowdy bunch to stand in the sun with their mouths wide open since they refused to keep it shut.
quite a funny sight actually.
and they thought so too going by their giggles. - then there were the 3 rascals who ran like snails for their shuttle run but acquired extra energy after their run to play catching while blatantly ignoring my shoutings.solution?
2 rounds around the basketball court.
sighhhhhhhh.
oh and there was this boy of a prosperous size who totally cracked me up-
he somehow managed to do his inclined pull ups without even bending his arm.
king man.
how?
well basically he was of such a prosperous size that all he did was thrust his paunch upwards so that it touched the rubber band string.
haha.
talk about beating the system.
at the end of the day..
i really do try very hard to look at the bright side of each kid.
but it's really tough.
still..
there are the few whom i just try and revel in their pure innocence.
something so lacking in kids these days.
like labin-
i love how he says 'YAY!i can read more books!' when i tell them to do wadeva they want.
and sandash when he goes 'YAY!i love doing homework' though the irony was he did not do it.
still.. the way they say it makes my heart melt.
adorable.
music of the moment: coldplay.
putting me in this melancholic mood.
i need my -me- time.
we live in a beautiful world..
munching strawberry choc space shuttles..
i wanna see my shooting star.
somtimes it's hard to remember pretty stars lie behind those grey clouds.
