joseph.yesterday's sermon was abt joseph.funny..joseph and his amazing technicolour coat...that was the musical my mum brought me to watch as a kid and after that and up till today, joseph and his adventures still remains as my favourite bible story.though i can't rmb the details as well as before.but wad an apt timing..results.that's the main thing now i suppose.singapore,no matter wad, will always be result driven.no matter where u turn to,no matter when u run to,you just can't run away from it.no matter how i look at it,i still feel sore abt that horrid D for geog.so here's the breakdown-Lit: AGeog: DEcons: DGP: A2Chi: B4PW: Band 2and now's my breakdown.but i'm the sort where tears won't flow.especially over grades.so it's just jammed up within.i deserve it.i deserve the bad grades.and i do not deserve the good grades.at the end of the day,i realised how big a role my teachers played in how i got the grades.in vj,the ppl are largely self-reliant,they are just plain smart and they just get the notes and mug their own and bham-the AAAA just fly to them.i shouldn't have even asked miss tham anything.when i look back,i just felt that she ruined everything for me.the way she taught..what she taught..how much [or little more like] she actually knew..i mean, that's wad my pals did last year [finding fault with her] which i tried not to coz i felt that she really did put in some effort.she just wasn't well equipped.but that resentful side of me now can't help but really just blame her now for that horrid D.i shld have been self reliant too.aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh.i guess i've been living in denial the past 2 days since i stared in shock at the horrid turn of events printed on a slip before my eyes at the desk before my civics tutor.i just shut it out of mind and engaged myself in activities so i wouldn't think about it.friday was spent waiting for the torrential downpour to stop flowing as the rain drowned out the cries of sorrows within before heading to orchard for a micro bit of shopping and a lil trip down memory lane at the singapore national museum which ended with a lil chilling out session at timbre.it was good.sat was spent in service where i launched full self into doing announcements which i'm quite getting the hang off.the trick is to just look like u're lookin at the audience when really,i'm not registering their faces.if i do,i'll get mighty nervous.had cny bai nian before that at olivia's comfy abode and another trip to timbre after service coz unexpected was playing and i heard they were good.it was a welcome distractor from the reality that awaited me too..i could finally indulge in a little guilt free retail therapy since i was buying gifts for friends.haha it's such a funny shoppin trip.hope he likes the shirt!but i really think it may be a lil small, anyway, the wordings were irrisistable la.i had to get it.i just love to get those graphic guys tees, especially the witty sort.though i never really had a reason to until yesterday and it was fun for me.=)now now,my bf is so gonna be getting cool graphic tees from me.that's for sure!oh yes, in the middle of strolling down the path outside taka,we bumped into ryan and adrian!ryan so couldn't wait to show me his great buy which was this brown tee that wasn't too bad, though i still prefer those at bugis.haha.of coz,the king pig who was with me seemed kinda weary and apprehensive of them though he couldn't take his eyes of them after they had turned around and continued on their way.sigh.gay-in-denial.i knew it.his vague attempts at reverting back to his weak jointed wrist shaking in trying to imitate me soon after was a pretty poor imitation of tryin to be .. happie.or being like a girl.BUT ahhhhhhh. i shld have recorded that moment down.it would have been memorable and so apt for special moments like .. forfeits.and birthday parties.hee.=Dunexpected was great!but the crowd was life friday's-dull and unenthu.sighh.bring on the party groups man!wished the atmosphere was better but hey, the band was still great!the lead singer has such a diversified vocal range la.omg.jac was pretty impressed too.[babe-hope u enjoyed it! =D]and the drummer looked like some BFG at the back with a knack for spinning his drum sticks and catching them midway before he continued playing on.cool!ohhhhhhh.we dedicated a special song to duane who joined us there coz it's his birthdya tmr and he'll be spending it in camp!sad man.oh but it was a special song indeed.hee.if i was a guy,i would have died from embarrassment.but hey,it's duane.he just took everything in his stride and chuckled sportingly as some hyena-pesky-fly-who-refused-to-admit-that-he-can-get-drunk just roared with laughter by his side.-_-"anyway,it was a good 2 days past.but today was just too much time and rain to set up the nostalgic atmosphere where the thoughts flow unrestrained.and where the full disappointment of that horrid geog D just gorged on my mind.still-i give much thanks to God for giving me that unexpected A for gp and lit. He's just so gracious.once again, the teachers played a big role.mr teo was so patient and my lit teachers in year 2 were awesome!mr ho especially made me fall in love with the text he taught while mr harris just motivated me to go for his classes coz i wanted to see what whacky things he would do.haha.anyways, at least i still had a life while getting those grades and not ending up like those reclusive hermits who retreat back into their muggerish shells only to emerge after the end of their S papers.I thank God too for giving my lovely friends such great results.see josey-we turned out fine in the end.haha.CONGRATS to all for pulling thru the As!=)pardon me while i wallow in the pit i dug myself.i shall engage in a dream of waving my econs D grade infront of leebeemoey who said i would fail for sure.rite.thanks.and then there's the parents and the dreams they carry.theirs and not mine.
