today was much more physically demanding.
ok more like in great requirement of stamina to stand for half the day.
i really haven't got a clue how mr sng copes since it's such a jam packed day!
but i did enjoy today nonetheless and if he does too,then i'm sure each of such days will be of great bliss to him.=)

k let's see,i reached sch slightly earlier so i could mentally prepare myself for my lessons which are definitely much less brainless than sec1 maths and pe i did earlier.
to start off,i had to once again hunt for my class during morning assembly since they don't really sit according to the class order.
after that i had to pretend that the attendance roster i'm holding is of some use to me which is really pure acting since i don't even know their names and how they are seated hence i can't take attendance.
then it's off to class.
each time i step in,i get stunned looks.
then i dunno if i walk into the wrong class or if there's a stain on my clothes.
*sweat drop*
so.
and then there's the prob of being a relief teacher relieving a MALE teacher.
u see-
in an all girls school,somehow male teachers tend to stand out. [they form like a quarter of the teaching staff only]
AND if u happen to be a YOUNG male teacher,or a really lovable and cute older male teacher,you'll definitely have a 'fan club'.
HENCE,when this young female teacher fresh out of junior college steps in in place of their usual male idol,
hostility greets her.
so..
sympathise with me!

but thank God truly for thus far i've managed to survive and sort of have a lil bonding with my classes.
was sharing my form class a lil bit of my jc days especially my acjc stories which totally got them laughing and gasping in shock.
haha.

ok then there's the watching-dvds-in-the-staff-room prob.
i brought the shuffle,so at least i had plugs.
unfortunately,i'm located right by the stairs,so like ALOT of teachers pass me by.
then there's the issue of watching a lit based dvd-A Midsummer's Night Dream,
which naturally will contain some steamy scenes.
doesn't help too that it's originally written by horny shakespeare and has now been made by money grubbing sexual hollywood which also means that the dvd doesn't exactly follow the text strictly in terms of the script.
so anyway,during one particular procreation scene whereby both parties were completely in the nude but stratigically positioned so nothing is revealed but everything is suggested,mr lam walked past my desk and his eyes almost popped out of his head la!
'WHAT A STEAMY SCENE!'
and he said it SO LOUDLY and he gave me such a disapproving look [he's a really staunch christian],i just wanted to die on the spot as the other teachers peeped over and bury myself 8273468926346269 feet under.
omg.
just shoot me.

anyway,i did have fun today despite being on my feet for nearly 4 straight hours.
my sec3 lit class was spent in group discussion followed by presentation of what they think went through the main characters minds.
it was supposed to be a diary entry.
real funny acting i had which was worth 5 thumbs up and i had all sorts of interpretations of the characters like i had a wannabe-indian-bimbo hermia and an extremely bimbo helena and another ah lian hermia.
OMG.
shakespeare must be wanting to spear them now.
haha.
but at least it was enjoyable!=)

had to take on remedial too which really tested me in terms of my vocab power.
but the china students are really hardworking and eager to learn even if they are really not tt good in english.
it's the attitude that matters.
so despite my growling stomach and onset of gastric,i pressed on.
i just dun get how these china scholars can ace all their other subjects and not english when the other subjects are also taught in english!
then how do they even understand wad they're reading up in the first place?
hmmm..
