this morn was the first time in a looooooong while that i arose and shone before 10am.
or rather- arose, shone and trumpetd.
it's also the first time in a loooooooooooong while that i got attacked by sinus.
i HATE it when i've got sinus.
coz then i need to pop the pills-which-i-personally-feel-do-not-work-but-it's-a-good-psychological-booster-anyway.
and then i'll get this headache,my eyes will tear profusely,my nose will be all rudolph-wannabe-like,alternate nostrils will take turns to get blocked,and then my nose will feel very sore coz i'll be rubbing it very hard and blowing my nose endlessly and i only use the cheapest form of tissues around which aren't too kind on my sensitive soft skin surrounding the nasal area,and then i'll feel completely drained of all energy and then i know i need to hit the sack.
but today i took a 5min nap and i was off for my job interview.
with a mere occasional leaking nose and a couple of sniffles.
God is that awesome! =D





ok it wasn't really a job interview..
just an interview at the recruitment agency my mum had seriously been strongly and vehemontly encouraging me to go to.
so i succumbed from my self-imposed rebellion.
and jlow accompanied me today!
been loooooong since i shop with the lady.
haha.
but it was a fruitful day spent since we walked all the way from raffles place to esplanade to marina square to plaza sing. [oh and after that i walked from plaza sing to far east to taka to lido.haha]
coz we needed to save money on our transport fare.economical we are.hee.
oh we dropped by esplanade coz well..how could i bypass city hall from raffles place without going to the arts icon?!!
haha.
and we were just in time to catch lunchbox which is this half hour lunch time performance by various bands.
usually it's the less mainstream kinds.
like today it was by this group called Hybrid which did a fusion of jazz,pop,latin and rock under south american,african,indian and other influences from the east.
so it was a good rest for our feet as our ears were rewarded with soothing tunes.=)
oh and esplanade now has an earshot cafe too!
i thought it was only at the arts house.
oh wells.the one at the arts house is still cosier!



anyway,jlow and i shopped around and we got real cute & nice stuff for her.
really really really worried abt her now..
sighhhh.
men aren't everything in a gals life.
whyyy do some gals get so dependent on their bfs?
[JANICE if u ever reach such a stage u know i'll whack u for that.
ok not like i dun already when u harp abt him when it's GALS time for us.haha.
but tt's wad best friends are for! *mega grins*]
anyway..
jc really do change a lotta ppl huh?
it's the post sec sch liberation thing i suppose..
BUT..
it's real saddening to see how some ppl change and yet not being able to help them or they not wanting to be helped.
i dunno which is worse.
i feel utterly helpless..and somewhat responsible.
would a different jc have been better?
sighh..
i do care u know.
and i'm not alone in this.

didn't feel like going home after that..
i've been at home so much i just didn't feel like going back so soon.
haha.
so i joined dan who was meeting up with his poly friends.
they are such unique and cool in their own ways kinda ppl.
and their totally zany fast paced conversations are quite funny as well.
ok actually i think it's the reactions from the ensuing confusion that's really hilarious.
haha.
oh and one of them,whose name is sultan,is under salman in police!
how coincidental is tt?!!
told him to say a .. jolene's-cookie-rocks-this-world-hi to salman for me.
haha.
hearing his stories abt the geylang raids and all..i wonder how come we never heard such stories from salman himself..
hmm..
maybe coz we hardly get to meet up anyway.
which makes each meeting up uber precious.=)

then there's siti who's in childcare and belinda who's gonna be opening a shop at far east and is also called the china-pon just coz she's from china.
and all of them are in a band.
except for siti.not too sure abt belinda.
but yupz.
that's just how cool they are!
real pleasure getting to know them and they are a pretty friendly bunch too!
