had track farewell today..
somehow..it doesn't seem that sad.
i thought i would be utterly devastated..
like today would officially mark the end..
but..
it just felt different.
and so it set me thinking..
and then i realised why..
unlike in cedar, i've been so much closer to this team so dear to me..
and being so,
i cherish them with all my heart.
today is not a day of goodbye,
merely a day to mark the many days ahead,
where true friendships will continue to be fostered
one beyond the track we once tread upon.
was reading the note from brenda and am feeling rather touched,
she may not be the world's best in english,
but the way she writes..
it's just so heartfelt.

somehow..it doesn't seem that sad.
i thought i would be utterly devastated..
