the start of the week was track camp.
it was a total blast.=)
sasi was such a leech, sticking to me throughout the violent captain's ball game tt left my left ear bleeding with a dented earring;he stuck with me so much tt the ball didn't come my way often coz obviously i couldn't get it with him glued to my side.irksome.i was completely exhausted anyway and my shin was abt to buckle beneath me.i just knew i couldn't quit then coz my team was already short of 2 players,so i just grit and bore on even when some fellow qn me abt remaining in one location all the time.
tuesday's water bomb game was even more of a hilarious affair.it was quite a last min game la.much kudos must be given to ben for improvising on the spot.haha.sasi as usual had to tackle me,he prac grabbed me and refused to let go,dragging me screaming and kicking [it's the first and last time i'm ever gonna behave in so embarrassing a manner in school!!!] around the canteen as i tried to get away from him bombing perfectly dry me.in the end,he had me on my knees infront of him with his laden arm fully outstretched ready to toss the bomb at innocent *bambi eyed* me.fortunately, thanks be to God for blessing me with a great lack of height, even though i was rite infront of him,he still missed narrowly when it flew over my head instead.omg.he wanted to kill himself in complete disbelief and i nearly died laughing.HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.to top it off, when he tried again later, the bomb bounced off me and burst onto the floor.i think sasi was ready to travel up to the top floor of neptune court.HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.*sticks out triumphant tongue*
track camp was just a blast la.
would have been lovely if everyone had really really participated instead of making guest appearances.oh wells.
water lovin' trackers!went to watch garfield just now.totally hilarious!!think it's much better than the first one though i didn't really watch much of the first one.but this one could actually draw out laughter,so yes,it's really funny.garfield is just one ass of a cat la!headed to esplanade to catch the free performances i've been dying to watch.omg.it's darn good!!!!superb!!!watched kolab perform their range of tunes+the incredible beat boxer whose lung powers i completely kowtow to.omg.he's just awesome!!he's solo totally showed hoe versatile he is,though i feel there surely are better beatboxers in singapore, but he really ain't all too bad.we were just stunned by him la.haha.
oh and behind the outdoor theatre was the coutyard where this australian group of artists did a chalk drawing that was so well drawn,u almost imagine it to be like painted on the floor if not for the chalk circle word written at the side.fascinating!
can check out more at www.chalkcircle.com.aufinally we headed off to watch the performance that i had been eagerly awaiting to watch which is titled The Insomniac by Ramesh Meyyapan.he's a deaf actor but you wouldn't know from his great coordination with the sound effects.remarkable i tell ya!it's basically a story abt this postman who's trying to get a good sleep after a hard day's work but is unable to no thanks to his insane alarm clock, some pesky mosquito and his psychotic music playin neighbour above.his facial expressions are seriously amazing,if i thought jim carrey was fab at contorting his face, ramesh is a blast!besides that, his actions imitating walking movements and that of a dog and his angry owner were simply impressive as well!like seriously,it was just so smooth and fluid like.omg.the day i can walk the way he did is the day i bounce about on clouds in heaven.it's seriously stunning.i couldn't help but left my mouth hanging agape in amazement and laughter coz he really is one darn good actor.sadly i couldn't get a pic.oh wells.he's performing again next tues-thurs at the same timings but a different play.i wanna watchhhhhhh!!!but i'll be in malaysia.grrs.so i'll miss that and the french film abt the 8 women i've wanted to watch since like..sec3.irritating la.oh wells, church camp is definitely worth missing all these i suppose.and then we bumped into an extremely gleeful and paparazzi-like mingyi on the way to cityhall.great.*buries thyself 10000000000000000feet beneath*i'm dreading trng tmr now..as if endurance wasn't enough already.shucks la.=)
