had a WUNDERFULLY SMASHING SUNNY FUN TIME TODAY!!!!had this sudden feelin of breakin outta this mundane life,so i msged jade and TA-DAA-we ended up at marina south today flyin kite.haha.my first time doing so,and i must say i would love to give myself a pat on my back [if not for my horrendous sunburnt] for being so capable that novice me managed to get the kite zipping thru the air within FIVE min.HAH.i can now check one thing off my list of Things To Do Before I Meet My Maker At Heaven's Gate. =D
jade had a great start albeit with some help from the PRO *coughs coughs*
was jokin that she can
throw [the kite] and i can
run [while tuggin the string]
haha.now u see the application benefits of track and field!!

the pro at work [meltin under the scorchin heat]

flying so freeeee! [ignore the finger]

our faithful kites
*blissfully exhausted*
some kids who gave up attemptin to fly their kites and chose to play a familiar long forgotten game of passin the ball down the line thru ur legs...ahhh...childhood.

goodbye marina south!

hullo cosy moon river cafe!!
ended off our long day with a sumptious albeit SPICY jap dinner at this quaint cafe tucked into a stretch of class shops along city hall area.
finished off with venezia ice cream at the art museum after that.
OH. while walkin along the boarded up stretch leading to the museum,this old woman in front of us FARTED and had the nerve to turn around and shoot *innocent* jade and i an accusing glare like as if WE were the ones who passed gas.like HULLO?!!!dun try and COVER up when it was evidently YOU since there weren't anyone else nearby!!anyway,jade burst out into laughter and didn't stop until we were past the museum.bleahh.jade had this notion of wanting to take those kinda shots u see in movie whereby some funny guy will go into one of those photo booths along the roads or public areas and take like funny shots of varying facial expressions.then this row of photo strip will develop with each of his different expressions.since this was gonna be a day of things-we-never-did-before,we decided to try it.unfortunately,to our utter dismay,singapore seems to be lackin in such machines.the one in which we had our hopes pinned upon at the sommerset station turned out to be only capable of printing 4 passport photos with only ONE expression.shucks.
and so we had to sadly kiss this wacky notion of us goodbye...leaving us with this only other alternative-

the ever handy digi cam.though the kind woman who helped us take this pic obviously had to include a piece of her in it too.haiz...
altogether,it has been a memorable,hopefully not once in a lifetime,day for me.thanks jade!!!love ya loads!!=)next up-kayaking!all i wanna dois grow old with you...
