CHRISTMAS PARTY WAS GREAT!!!!!!
i really truly from the deepest depths of my heart thank the good Lord for:
1) J.LOW, MEL AND SHUYUN CAME!!!!!! when i asked shuyun on wed morn itself and she told me she would not come coz she didn't have a gift to bring and i tried to persuade her otherwise [i mean christmas ain't just abt gifts!it's just an additional fun aspect tt's all!],she didn't reply me. =( but when i msged her in the evening and she confirmed that she WAS COMING,omg!i almost fainted by the road outside dz's house in great ecstasy!haha.
2) ok this is really really really really amazingly marvellous. i asked daryl if he could come and he told me on tues night tt he would see how tmr.when i msged him in the morn,he didn't reply me.at 6pm,just half an hour before the party was abt to start,he called me and asked 'hey jolene,guess where i am now?' ... ... ... -sentosa-. omg.i almost flipped man!i was like 'WADD?!!!' i mean his house was just arnd the corner so i was pretty sure distance would not be an excuse but now he was in SENTOSA?!!!!!!!!!!waseh.i was uber crushed.tried verrrry very long to persuade him to come all the way down and tt it's ok if he was late.but he just said he would call me back,of coz he didn't la.so when i called him anyway,and i even got his ever great fellow chinese classmate minghan to talk to him,he still didn't want.so i was like...sigh...ok Lord,at least i tried my best. and then 2 hours later...at 9pm...*ring ring* 'hullo jolene?guess where i am now? [daryl seems to have some weird fascination with playin guessing games with me -__-"] ....i am at home.do u still want me to come to the party?' WAAAAAH!!!i was utterly delirious with JOY!!!!!seriously,he hardly had sufficient sleep after watching match and tonning 2 nights in a row,spent the day at sentosa but yet he still didn't mind coming all the way down for the party?!omg.i really really really went mad and was prac trying to stop myself from screaming the news to minghan.ahaha.omg.THANK YOU LORD!!!!
3) Minghan is a great emcee.as well as a great conspirator of weird games [which we sadly didn't get to play due to time constraint] and cruel forfeits [he came up with the wasabi in oreos forfeit].seriously man.and he takes great delight in releasing the innate 'evilness' in me.like he just keeps repeating how i do have some sorta 'evil' in me tt's just waiting to be released even though i'm the track capt.like huh?!!so outta point la!just coz he has no cca ever since he quit strategic games club soon after they banned dai di...haha.but he's really really funny and interesting to work with.haha.

and so i thank God for giving us this opportunity to share Christ in an unintimidating manner with our frens.truly...Christmas is just more than about the gifts.for the most important gift of all - Jesus Christ, has yet to be accepted by many...



went for trng yesterday...my fitness has expectedly plunged.no strength in my legs la!couldn't do many jumps.and i seriously miss trng with gals for jumps...argh.how i wish mary and ivana were back trng with us.daryl and sheng wei just drove me mad with their funny antics yesterday.esp sheng wei.but their sheer determination portrayed albeit light heartedly was great inspiration too...=)

rehearsal for faithful-nest and gluefish party today was absolutely crucial.seeing how...confused and fairly chaotic things were yesterday...sigh...i'm really praying hard for this event...

last night my dad took me out for a 'late night' haunt of borders since it closed at 12 midnight.oh maaaaaaan...i haven't been on a book hunt in AGES!!!ooh how i miss that familiar dance of eyes flirting from one cover to the next,the comforting touch of smooth book jackets and the cosy aroma of fresh crisp pages.ahhhhh...absolutely delightful!but unfortunately,i'm disgusted at my taste in books now.from the litereature section [the one with gorgeous book jackets] i soon found myself heavily engaged in books that are a parady of say The Da Vinci Code,which was known as The Va Dinci Cod,and like The Art of Quitting and other utterly hilarious stuff.the books in the Humour section are not the stupid deadpan humour,but the witty soon.quite my cup of tea i suppose...i was like, *_* i want ALL THE BOOKS!!!came up with a list on my hp of the books i would shortlist for my Chirstmas 'wants' list.but then my hp batt died.great.it's a sign.but the books there are REALLY hilarious.ooooooh and the paperchase stuff are so pretty and nice!!!got my sister the pencil case she wanted,pink with butterflies,that i really really loved as well.but oh wells,maybe i'll get the black one which she kinda liked as well then we can swop once in a while.ahaha.

the otherwise perfect night was only marred by rubez sad call and someone telling me he's dead drunk,least expect him of all ppl.utterly disappointing.
why get so intoxicated?
