sometimes i just wished i could escape to a world without all these evils and nastiness.a world of pure childish innocence and utter happiness.but then...i know this is just whimsical dreaming on my part.sigh.my class chalet went well.haha.dun really know how to describe it coz i dun think i've ever stayed with my class ppl outside lessons for tt long a period of time.got to bond fairly well i guess, seeing how the geog bunch are always segregated from the tsd bunch.firstly when i arrived,i was in a rather pissed off state coz my dad told me mum the rite directions to the wrong aloha and when i told my mum it's the wrong place, she just wanted to leave me stranded at freaking pasir ris and told me to get my frens to pick me up.walao.think wad?my frens can drive ah?!!madda.nvm.then i whipped out the street directory in an attempt to find the venue but omg,the place is not distinctively labelled la.called 3 frens and only ying picked up and told me she would call me back after calling her mother which was quite dangerous coz my mum was already in changi beach and dangerously swerved into the carpark at the expense of the safety of the driver behind us who horned like mad.and my mum was just shouting at me to call some responsible frens who knew how to get there.irritating man.then ying kept repeating the go past changi sailing club and stressing on tt so i heeded her advice.my mum was totally getting on my nerves by this time coz she kept yelling at me at how many clubs there were and i kept yelling back tt it's changi SAILING club.like seriously man-ALL the whole time we were in changi area the 'conversation' was just peppered with 'SO MANY CLUBS!WHICH CLUB?!!' and me shouting back tt it's 'CHANGI SAILING CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' and my mum just refused to follow my directions la.tell her go straight, she'll ask me 'turn here?'.like ARGH!!!!!!!!who's the one who always unfailingly manage the maps and plot directions on family holidays?!! -mua-. and she doesn't trust me?!!grrrrrrrr.i dun take geog for nuthin ya know.anyway, amidst much chaos,we finally arrived at the supa ulu pandan chalet at changi fairy point.yes-fairy point.the only winged creatures i saw tt only a hallucinating person would call 'fairies' were pesky huge flies that swarmed round all the lights in the kitchen,on the porch,etc...uber irritating.the chalet has this rather mysterious feel about it too.built in a colonial style,it's simply a vast expense of space with massive rooms and comfy mattresses and couches.surrounded by trees, trees and more trees,it's also fronted by a roundabout lined with dim streetlights which many other chalet car drivers used as a means to u-turn and get outta the area.surprisingly there was also a tv set and table tennis table but no bats.so when i was still in church, josey called me to desperately ask me to bring bats and speakers coz there were nobody had brought.but unfortunately, despite my jacking up my hp bill by smsing and calling the ppl who stayed within the east area, nobody was able to lend me there and then.so...toobad.not like we would have time to play table tennis la.but some music would have been good.esp since the area was eerily quiet...had a fantastic bbq man!too much food though.haha.mrs low,mr ng kah gay,mr leonard ng n mr seet with his whole family also came!supa funny la,we all like frens.and mr ng kg was in this mood-to-kill-innocent me coz the other day in school i walked past him while he was seated at the canteen table with a few students and winked at him saying 'mr ng!heard u had a great clubbing experience the other night!' and this look of shock just swept over him.but ermx...unbeknownst to me...the ermx...vice principal was seated next to him and had a few comments to make.heehee.not my fault la!i dunno wad the shorter vp looks like wad!every time i see him,he's on stage in the hall n i sit rite at the back, how to see his face?!!hahaha.but anyways, the night went by quickly with mr seet's children at the centre of amusement.ok la,his gal rachel was quite cute.and she wears mini crocs!!!like ?!!! kids these days!sheesh.reuben was funnier.when mrs low carried him,he was smiling, when she passed him over to mr ng kg who held him in a supa weird position and looked rather awkward carrying him, reuben started curnching up his face, ready to explode in loud wails.haha.so mr seet quickly took him from a very relieved mr ng and played with him.sucha sweet tender moment,mr seet and his son...=)after the bbq dinner, ying, josey, sher, ryan, rowell [a freaking pyromaniaca who just loved playing with fire and created a rushing flaming beam when he lit the match infront of the pesticide.like ?!!!!!!],the 2 mr ngs and i went for a stroll around the area.wanted to go to the boardwalk, but coz it was a lil dark to use the mini path,we headed to changi sailing club instead.had a nice chat all the way, really man, sometimes it's just so hard to distinguish between who's the teacher and student.haha.the view from the club was......stunning.for a while, ying n i tot we were looking at a lighthouse, but it turned out instead to be some slow moving aircraft.then flashes of lightning zipped across the sky from a distance away n mr leo ng was commenting how it's rare to see lightning at the edge of clouds.it was a morbidly pretty sight actually.the lightning was horizontal and light orange in colour and didn't seem to be in a hurry like most lightning over singapore usually is;like the local ones just seem to require only a split second for its grand showing but the ones over some island near changi just seemed to move at an idyllic rate...as if strolling across the sky.real pretty.sitting at the curb along the beach,we also star gazed...stars...yes....never really realised how stars can look so clear and pretty in singapore.maybe coz i dun get the chance to do so since every peek upwards into the sky is usually obscured by trees and street lights.but whoa...the view from changi was just...crystal clear....spotted orion's belt too...yes....the stars just look so pretty from there. *smiles* ryan stared singing the line from yellow which had already been running thru my head.so i quickly whipped out my hp to play tt song.i mean wells....ryan's singing ain't exactly...melodic.haha.reluctantly,we headed back to the chalet coz we were supposed to play some games.but after the 2 mr ng's left in their mercs and suv,the geog ppl ended up chatting outside on the road instead.but we still went in later la.
then the games began.
well first we gathered in one of the bedrooms and spread all the mattresses on the floor.played the usual concentration [which sherene lost and had to do some erotic pose as a forfeit!hahaha.blackmail time shall begin soon]and the diu diu diu game before playing the expected -truth and dare.which was when i decided tt i needed a bath.haha.uber cold la the water!but it was refreshing.anyway,i dun think this truth and dare was as exciting as the one we hadin malaysia.maybe coz it was a smaller group la,so more cosy.besides, all of us seemed to be in a rather dazed state already, near concussion.it din't really get to my turn too,or maybe coz i happily siamed it.haha.the game ended with everyone concussed on the matts and bed.and i joined my frens in the land of slumber.haha.ended up missing the sunrise too.dang.but the few ppl who managed to stay awake said tt they couldn't see a dang thing either coz of the numerous trees.oh wells.shall eagerly look forward to it in west k.last year's sunrise over the padi fields still remains a crisp memory embedded in my mind...oh wells, quite an interesting chalet la.i suppose.class chalets always seem rather fun,no matter how mundane the things we seem to do.haha.it's the people that make it fun! =D
remember how you said the stars look prettyon your sidehow much more twinkly they would beif we could have been on the same sidea-star-gazingwith you*smiles*
