trooped into school at 11.30am today.was all geared up n ready to sign in at the guardpost but they didn't stop me.then i realised tt it's coz year 2's had papers today so guess they assumed i was a year 2.ahaha.phew!first time i dun have to sign in when i come late before 12.10.oh wells,anyway i tot the prelims had already ended last friday.ahaha.tot it was only 1 week.guess not. something queer happened when i went to the toilet during maths at the v block level 3.went past this class n distinctively saw a figure,gal i think,in one of the classrooms trying to arrange the tables at the window.then when i walked past she like recognised me n made some gestures or something,but i didn't see properly n i was dying to go toilet so just zoomed past.but when i walked back,there were only 3 guys sitting at the other side stoning like as if they've never moved.didn't see any gal in sight.but couldn't see properly anyway coz the rooms look dark n the windows were too reflective.oh wells.strange.
oh man...just did a lil research on some terms i didn't understand for the glass menagerie.read up on this lil village, mentioned in the text, located in Spain called Guernica which was utterly bombed out and pulverized in 1937 all becoz hitler wanted his nazi army to have a 'lil aerial bombing practice' and also coz the the spanish civil war was on-going n this guy called francisco franco was trying to install his nationalist govt and demoralise/get rid of the opposing republican supporters so he got the germans to help support him.i can't believe it.all the wars i had read up on previously all occurred due to belief in contrasting ideals and stuff,but this is the first time i've read up on a town getting wiped out as a target practice!!!wad atrocity!!!i can't believe this.i feel very sad for them. life-poof!gone. how can this be?how can innocent civilians going about on their daily lives be wiped out without any prior hints or warnings?!!apparently it was market day n there were a large crowd from outside of the village as well present then.n they did not know wad was coming...oh maan.i feel depressed rite now.how can this be?how can man play god n be so cruel?so heartless?didn't those pilots place themselves in the shoes of the civilians before they bombed them?how would u feel if u killed ur family members in a moment of target practice?oh man... i now know why ted hughes portray such a bleak view of man. horrors-why do i belong to this inhumane race?!!
