today marks the first day i actually enter nus campus.
yupz.went there to mug.yes,my first proper day in my life tt i mugged.even when i went to geylang east last year for o's i could still wander around n take multiple breaks n basically frittled my time away.but omg-nus library just makes u want to study.it's like this mass study area,tt reminded me of ac's,where everyone is studying/napping/laptop-ing,u just wanna bury ur head as well!didn't help too tt the library obviously has no asterix comic books for me to read.i totally love asterix n obelix man!!!everytime go geylang east sure chiong to the children's section first to go grab some to read [perks of being short so the kiddies dun give me weird stares],doesn't matter that i've thumbed through the same comics a thousand hundred times since i was a kiddo in primary 3,when i first discovered the wonder gallic world.haha. sigh.it's strange how the significance of certain things change over time...library used to be a place of wonderment for me,a place where i can go in a frenzy seeking out books tt interested me,a place where i can lose my imagination and roam about freely,galloping from jack and jill's hills to boxcar children's boxcar,solving puzzles and playing sleuth.sigh...gone are those fascinating times...now u say library n the first thing ur fren will reply is-to mug?bleah.tt's not the way libraries wanted u to gain knowledge!!!not just by confinning urself to selected readings and limited books.bleah.horrid horrid education system.
i shall reinstate the library to its rightful origins once promos are over.
haha.anyway,the people in the library can be rather interesting.there was this china guy infront of me who was doing his work on his laptop.then after a while,he sneaked a peek to the left,to the right,then plugged in his headphones,minimised the micro word window,and played THE MYTH!!!hahaha.must be pirated man!!!but super funny la,i was watching a lil bit too from behind.haha.then there was this guy on the left who like only 'read' his book for 5 min before he started nodding off,by the next time i looked up,he was sprawled on the table already.hilarious sight.
after 4 hours,it was time to call it a day.information overload!!!my sis n i went to the cafe downstairs-grinning gecko.weird name.the food was bleah,the place was flooded with leaves that danced all over the floor,and the FLIES!!!omg!!!swarming all over our food la!my sis kept going 'is this malaysia?is this malaysia?!!' haha.but it's a nice cosy enclave tt faces lush greenery n rather breezy [which explains the leaves].but also coz it was gonna rain.the recommended something-batter ice freeze is rather yummy i must say.think it's the kinda place to chill at over drinks n not food!!the indian cleaner kept sweeeping up the leaves around my sis n i.even when we changed places,he still ended up sweeping the floor around us!!!he brings a whole new meaning to dedication.haha.
hmm...those 4 hours really gave my cranium great pressure.tot it would easy to pass promos since only need 1 A n 2 AO pass,but as i was counting my chickens before the eggs are hatched,i realised tt it's SO NOT easy to pass la!!!like gp is super risky for me,chinese i'll make sure i pass,by hook or by crook coz i have to!!!bleah.the A i intend to pass was geog coz lit is absolutely horrendous with me only passing 1 assignment this term.real bad.econs is gone case coz all these economy systems are so messed up to me.sigh.but geog is the one i failed out of this 3 for mid years,so if i aim to pass my promos,i'll have to get at least C or D for this paper la!!!so remotely impossible!!!the notes are simply overwhelming n i'm not even one tenth thru it!!!dang it.i'm so messed up.howwwwww?!!!
first step: sleep. got to promote vj in cedar in exactly 7 hours.can't look like a sloth.
