- watching movie with mum -

i promise u War of the Worlds is so NOT WORTH to watch.thank goodness my mum paid for it.basically it's a wonderful-steven-spielberg-style movie tt's full of special effects,brilliant actors but lame ass story plot.n i totally agree with straits times writer tay yek keak-the show simply involved tom cruise running and running and running and running and running and running and running and running...u get the idea.he ran from one place to another place n yet another place.it's quite fascinating considering he can catch up with the machines but yet i dun see him at the olympics to compete with the g.o.a.t.anyway,it was also a pretty gory movie especially towards the end where the small n large intestines n other unrecognisable organs were literally splattered n covered the fields n buildings n every other thing.there was also this scene where the machine stuck its giant metal tentacle into the human n started sucking up the blood n it totally didn't help tt at tt time i was sucking ice lemon tea with a straw from a cup.almost spit the whole thing back in man.ok i think i did a little,but at least my mum,who's sharing the drink with me, didn't know.
oh and despite having countless brushes with death,tom cruise still didn't die.like he could be in the middle of a large crowd n everyone around him would be zapped to ashes except for him n his daughter.simply fascinating.shows u can't kill named ppl in the opening of the credits.and talking about dakota fanning-omg.she screams like she's trying to exceed the decibal chart!almost got deafened by her n i had to cover my ears.i simply can't stand shrieks n screams n other loud noises.if i were tom cruise,i would have let her get eaten by the aliens.now 2 situations would arise from this:
1) either she would be so frightened tt she's scared dumb n can no longer utter a single squeak
2) or she would scream so loud tt the aliens would lose focus,collapse to the ground n plead for mercy before fleeing back to their non-existant planet.
ooh yes n the ending's pretty lame too.since spielberg decided tt it would seem totally unbelievable tt the humans would be able to beat the aliens since they were having a pretty shiok time zapping humans like me killing ants,he decided to kill them off with the force of nature.so the aliens just like simply froze n died.lame.anyway,thank goodness i wasn't drinking carrot juice coz the aliens started spilling orange liquid the minute they died n i would have most likely puked out my juice at tt scene n ended up looking like one of the aliens.gross.
ooh yes,and in case u haven't realise-this is a spoiler.

k well,as always i'll always talk about track.i mean when u're actively involved in track,there really ain't much else to talk about.today's trng was rather short n fast.coz comp's on friday.sigh...so near yet i'm so unprepared.track and field can be so frustrating some times,it's like as long as u dun have the talent,u can only train so hard but achieve limited results.i've felt this way for sprints for the past 3 years n now i feel it in jumps too.jie ciong didn't train for like a month,doesn't have any track n field background,yet she's so naturally gifted n can easily jump 4.30m while i struggle with all my heart just to reach tt.doesn't help too tt my leg doesn't obey wad my mind visualizes.like when i do short approach,i could get the height i want.actually i only managed to get it today,so tt's a good sign i guess.but when i do with full run-up,my technique's totally not there anymore.i can't get the height or distance i yearn for so much.tang said it's coz my leg has no strength.sigh...my legs are already so fat!!!still no strength...bleah.not trng properly for the first 3 months really does take it's toll.anyway,i really wanna get into top 8 for long!!!!!really truly absolutely!!hopefully i'll be able to jump better tmr.oh ya,and i still dun have proper spikes.sigh.like in 2 trainings i already wore five pairs of different spikes.and i'm back to spike no 1.great.i'm so ready for jumps.i just want my hypersprint!!!!!!!! *screams like dakota fanning*

today jennhaur was such a meanie poop-he reminded me tt mr tang said i was ugly [which he did not literally say so anyway].and i was like 'ya tt's coz he said i looked like you'.and the both of us said the same thing about art friend at the same time when we were discussing how to decorate the jumps towel.gross.tt aside,jansen was pretty quiet today.totally freaked me out actually.as in,he's usually boiling-kettle-noisy,but today he was graveyard-silent.totally eerily freaky.he was like tt since the weekend,but didn't expect him to be tt quiet during trng too.anyway he didn't respond when i talked to him.so...dunno how la.wanted to talk to him personally,but he seemed to exude this get-far-away-from-me aura,so didn't dare do so.was rather bothered actually.i mean jansen has been so instrumental in making me feel welcomed in jumps and all coz he's so chatty n uber friendly.so i really am grateful to him for tt,but today's him was so entirely different.nic said he gets like tt sometimes,just the 'time of the month' again.hahaha hilarious la!but in mr tang's words-jansen's 'such a gal'.haha...anyway,hope he cheers up tmr!

ooooooooh yes n to all those out there who are such wonderful ppl n the second greatest [the first being Jesus] to ever live on earth n are such darling pals who are puzzling over wad to give me to wish me all the best for nats,well here's a BIG hint: a pair of yellow roxy socks tt has a yellow fluff ball sticking out at the back.haha.i wanted to buy yesterday!!!but after shopping i was totally flat broke.oooooooooh yes SHOPPING!!!hahaha...had such a brilliant time shopping with hy,jade,su n wen yesterday.haven't seen su n wen in like months la!!!haha...went home totally drained physically n financially but super satisfied.except for tt pair of socks.i wanted to buy since last year already la!!!but when i went back it was out of stock.hrrmph.n yesterday when i saw it,i didn't have enough money left.dang.i really really reeeeeeeeeally want it!!!so please if u're intending to give me PLASTERS like wad i've been getting for the past years,rest assured the socks will come in more handy for nats then plasters.like i'm not gonna jump so far n hit the concrete rite?!!!though i wish i could...

anyway,i took pics with my mum today too.so weird taking with her.but well,it was her idea anyway,though she almost had a fit when she learned of the price.haha...my funky mother.went a little shopping with her too. *screams once again like dakota fanning* i want MOOOOOOOOOREEEEEEEEE time to shop!!!!!!
