- the past week -
this past week has been pretty funny. everyone just wanted to pon school. guess we're all too exhausted...
i went for trng last monday and rushed through my schedule and then left early with pam.mr tan was like asking for our reason,and when i said i had to do my essays, ewen,the capt was like 'we all have homework to do too'.wah lao. made me feel damn guilty la. but hey,i have absolutely no idea wad to do for history and obviously i'll have loads of reading to do.anyway when i reached home, it was already 8.15.so by the time i started on my essays, it was like around 8.45pm. i was damn tired...is it gonna be like tt all the time...?
wednesday was quite funny. it was the day of the NE quiz finals which were held in the hall on stage. and guess wad? ANDREW AND GAYLE WON!!!!!!!!! hahahaha....they did the arts fac proud man!!! we rock!!!and my class made last minute posters,which were nothing more than foolscap with alphabets on them,but still...it's the thought tt counts...and joshua was just some over zealous 'fan' who kept putting the 'EH!' poster up each time the other teams answered. and when andrew got the answer wrong, we would put the WAH LAU sign up.hahaha...hilarious i tell u.
went to watch Three Sisters by the ACSian theatre on friday.omg.they are superbly good.sigh...will i ever reach tt standard? saturday was a busy day for me. was in church at 12 for good friday comm meeting,then went to jes house for cell,then went to church for ym,then had cell with my faithfulnest without shi hui coz she sprained her ankle and couldn't come,then had drama rehearsals,then i finally reached home after 10.sunday i went to Bedok Methodist Church,josh's church.it's a nice building.and the ym was pretty cool.his siblings dun look like him at all!!!they dun have tt chinaman look tt he has.hahaha...rushed home after tt to do my hw. in the evening,my family and i sent my sis to the airport.she had like a whole group of ppl from church who came to send her off la.my ah ma was quite taken aback.and she was going on about how it is not good to have too many friends.like wad?!!how can one ever have too many friends?!!it's a blessing to have even one.my ah ma has issues man... i miss my sis...she's in new zealand now.i won't see her for another 6 months.sigh...oh well,at least now i can borrow her clothes and stuff without ahving to ask for her permission.hahaha...and i thought i could have the pleasure of choosing between 2 beds to sleep in at night,but my mother just had to rip off the bedsheets the minute we reached home and cover it with a blanket tt has 'felicia' embroided on it.crap.so now i can only sleep in my own bed.oh well...i miss my sis...
monday was a day of exasperartion.i was debating whether or not i should go for trng coz i just felt damn sian and shivali wasn't coming.but then again.if i did not go,i would not be going for trng at all this week coz i'm watching ac idol on friday and i prob won't be coming for school on tt day too.so in the end,against my own will,i dragged myself to the sports complex after school.and guess wad?to my dismay,when i reached there,i did not recognise a single familiar girl face.even though i had already changed and put my bag down,i was so tempted to just pack up and leave.but i clung on to the glimmer of hope tt maybe,just maybe,the girls were really late.in the end,mei hui came.so,there were altogether a grand total of - two - of us gals for trng tt day.the senior gals didn't even turn up.and to make it worse,mei hui was the gal who found out tt i was the track capt last time,so i made her promise not to tell anyone.but on the way to acsi,this guy called anthony i think,who's her fren,was walking with us at the back and she intro me as the track capt.omg.i almost fainted in shock.i totally did not expect her to blurt it out like tt.and anthony had like this impressed look and kept saying tt cedar's track is good.so i told him tt ya,my juniors are fantastic but i'm not.and he had this 'ya rite' kinda look.great.just wad i feared most...expectations... later during trng,it was ewen's birthday,so naturally we sang him a song and then trng started.it was relatively easy la.4x100 and 4x60.but after running 3x100,i felt rather dizzy and pukish.haven't ran so fast in a loooooooooooooooong time.so jiaolian said we could go cool down.hahaha...we were cooling down when anthony walked past and started saying 'captain slacking ah!'.great.just great.anyway.jiaolian was talking to us about runing experience and all when suddenly mei hui jumped up and told her i was 'cedar de CAPTAIN' and jiao lian almost shouted 'NI SHE CEDAR DE CAPTAIN AH?!' waaaaaaaaaah lau.at tt point,i really wanted to murder mei hui already.and so i could only meekly say yes to jiaolian and quickly told her tt i'm not tt good and not to tell anyone else coz i dun wanna run under tt kinda pressure.but too late,the surrounding guys had already heard it.anyway,i told her i hate 'ya li' and i'm very 'lan duo' so i 'pa xing ku'.but of coz,she reassured me and told me i would do well [riteeeee...i'm way too unfit now]and launched into a story of an ex-cedar captain they had.anyway,some of the guys started asking me for my name.like okkkkk,really hoped it was just them being nice not coz of wad position i used to hold... - know me for who i am,not wad i was - anyway,we also found out tt it was jiaolian's birthday too!!!coz she usually wears this 'couple' outfit with her husband who's the throws coach[it's actually the sports complex uniform]but she was wearing red tt day.trust us gals to be able to sense something like tt.so we kept asking the guys to sing her a birthday song and anthony was like 'eh captain,go gather everyone'.irritating.in the end we managed to surround sound her with our lovely singing on a dark starry night in acsi.hahaha...how romantic.
argh.anyway i'm so irritated.i hate assumptions.now i can't train inconspicuously.i just hope the gals dun find out. *fingers crossed* but yet...i just know...
